Scarlet Guard text for Lord Ulric of Thescorre

Pennsic XXXIV by TRM Malcolm & Tessa

Gaston Phébus said it best when he wrote "all my life, I have delighted in three things: arms, love and hunting.  For the third of them, I doubt that I have ever been mastered.  He who hunts avoids idleness, which is the beginning of vice.  A true hunter cannot be idle and fall prey to bad thoughts.  Consequently, he cannot do evil."  Our Ulric of Thescorre, with his bow drawn taught, has captured the golden alce and searched for the sacred red hart with his antlers, marrow and the bone with in his heart holding great healing powers.  Good populous know well that this man has captured the sacred red hearts of Our beloved King Malcolm and Queen Tessa and are compelled to make him a companion to our Order of the Scarlet Guard and do hear by Grant him Arms and hear by summon him by the name Honorable Lord Ulric of Thescorre.  Done on this glorious day, AS 40 at The 34th Pennsic War in the Canton of Steltonwald.
